Definitely one of the best Tex Mex restaurants. The Original Blanco Cafe has good customer service. The staff always seems happy to be there and help in anyway they can. If you come here, you need to try their breakfast plates. Their eggs and potatoes are the best and filled with so much flavor. Also, the prices are very reasonable and the portion sizes are pretty big.

Very authentic! We loved San Antonio as a whole, but this place is truly special. Great service. Extremely authentic Mexican. Amazing flavor. Would highly recommend.

Yummy food, friendly service even with the corona virus. Staff was cleaning the seating area before I sat down and everyone was wearing face covering. Need a mask to sit inside but they had them for sale for $1 each. Had breakfast and it was good and fresh. Will be back.

I've eaten at a LOT of Mexican restaurants. Some are fair, some decent, some excellent...the original Blanco Cafe in San Antonio is none of the above. This place is sub par at best. The service is awful. The food is akin to that of a frozen tv dinner. I would give it a zero except the flour tortillas were actually ok. Chips and salsa? Chips like deep fried card board. Salsa was completely tasteless...didn't even have cilantro..... everything is just awful. The lady at the desk at Windham hotel highly recommended this place....shame on her.save your money, McDonald's offers a more decent breakfast than the Blanco. Hmmm...Blanco...bland, blank.....

Food came out fresh and hot. I had the 2 cheese enchiladas with fajitas beef and it was delicious. I can see how they won best enchiladas in San Antonio so many times. Handmade flour tortillas we amazing.
